A login is required for users outside the administration to work on applications offered by the canton or a Zug municipality. Via «Create online account» you can create an account for free by providing personal information like your name, address, email, and mobile number. Access to specific applications, e.g. iZug workspaces or the online application portal can be requested based on the intended use. If you cannot remember your password or username, go to «Manage online account» .
The administrative staff of the 11 municipalities of Zug and the canton already have access with their PC login and do not need to create new accounts.

With «ZUGLOGIN» you can get online access to your administrative tasks and data anytime, anywhere. You can sign and submit documents electronically, completely eliminating the need for handwritten signatures. To use online services, you need to create a free user account on «ZUGLOGIN». All tax-liable individuals and legal entities in the Canton of Zug can create a «ZUGLOGIN» account online. Individuals, including those from outside the canton, can also apply for a user account at a cantonal or municipal office.

«Web transfer with the canton, the municipalities, and third parties» allows large files (up to 1 GB) to be transferred within the cantonal administration, the 11 Zug municipalities, and to external parties on the Internet.

«Secure Messaging with the Canton of Zug» allows for secure email communication with Zug authorities.

Suppliers must first open a user account on Online account eröffnen. As a second step, an application can be submitted through the online form Application form for remote access (VPN).
