The Legal Service is mainly responsible for:
- Reviewing draft decisions for the attention of the KESB
- Responding to complaints (at the administrative and federal courts)
- Recording minutes and participating in hearings
- Legal assessment of questions relating to legal measures (power of attorneys, living wills, etc.)
- Special legal clarifications (e.g. financial assets, inheritance law, real estate law, contract law, etc.)
- Legal advice to KESB members
- Legal support to auditors
- Legal clarifications for the Zug Mandate Center
- Legal consultation by phone
