Special Education Department

The Special Education Department is responsible for developing a special needs education program that meets the quantitative and qualitative needs of the canton of Zug. In addition to cantonal regulations and legislation, inter-cantonal regulations and legislation also apply.
Our main work includes executing financing and co-financing decisions for more initiatives in the area of early development and compulsory education, developing and overseeing service agreements with cantonal special schools and the curative education service, and recognizing service providers in the field of special education.
