We are committed to providing good schools with viable and high-performing pupils who are both academically accomplished and equipped for life's challenges. We also offer comprehensive vocational, study and career counselling for all Zug residents and promote culture and the arts.

About us
In the field of education, we establish guidelines for municipal schools, considering inter-cantonal school coordination efforts. We also manage the following educational institutes and programs:
- Zug University of Teacher Education
- Zug Cantonal school KSZ (secondary school)
- Menzingen Cantonal school KSM (secondary school)
- Vocational middle school FMS
- Zug Business school WMS (at the Zug Cantonal School)
- Media center for teachers at all levels (Didactic Centre)
We provide education grants (scholarships, loans and school fees). Young people and adults can seek guidance on career and course selection, and career planning. We also support institutions that offer general further training (adult education).
We support and recognize artists in the cultural sphere with awards. Furthermore, we foster cultural initiatives and manage the Museum of Prehistory.
