Office for Civil Protection and Military Affairs

We handle civil defense and military matters entrusted to the canton by the Confederation, such as the monitoring system, the army depot, and the military service exemption tax. The civil defense organization runs the Schönau training center in Cham and ensures the training and deployment of around 900 conscripts.
