Laboratory of the Consumer Protection Office

The laboratory of the Consumer Protection Office specializes in microbiology, molecular biology, water, food and nutritional value analysis, and chromatography and environmental analysis.

We test:

• Food
• Commodities (e.g. cosmetics)
• Drinking water
• Sea and river water
• Bathing water
• Shower water
• Waste water

We test samples for:

• Food inspection
• Environmental Protection Agency (with sampling)
• Water suppliers
• Assignments for individuals and companies

We train apprentices:

• Lab technician with Swiss Certificate of Competence (EFZ) specializing in chemistry

Accreditation:
The laboratory is accredited as a test center by the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS.
