We at the Office for Spatial Planning and Transport are the cantonal center for spatial and transport planning, nature and landscape conservation, local and special use planning and affordable housing promotion. We are also the regulatory authority for buildings located outside designated building zones and within specified proximity to water bodies.

Internship
Interested in an internship? We invite you to spend six months gaining comprehensive exposure to spatial planning: everything from cantonal structure planning, support for municipal planning, coordinating planning applications, nature and landscape conservation, transport planning, tender planning for public transport services, hiking and cycling trails, to the promotion of affordable housing. In short - (almost) everything that has to do with spatial planning.
Our requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in spatial planning, geography, landscape architecture, biology or a related subject
- Commitment and independent working style
- Good written and spoken German skills (understanding of Swiss German)
- Knowledge of GIS and a driving license are an advantage.
