K-B-A | S-B-A Admission procedure

The K-B-A (combined bridging program) and S-B-A (school bridging program) enables youngsters and young adults to expand their skills necessary for successful entry into the workforce or an general education school.

Admission requirements

The prerequisites for entry into the K-B-A / S-B-A are:

• Completion of compulsory schooling

• Willingness to perform

• German language proficiency at B1 level ESP

• BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)

- After the 2025 sports vacations, from February 17, 2025
  the memory stick can be ordered
  This requires an email with the following details to aba@zg.ch:
  - Surname + first name, address, postcode + town
  - Date of birth + gender

- Deadline for submission of registration documents via memory stick

Where can you find the S-B-A?

April 2025
- The regular registration deadline for the K-B-A / S-B-A school year 2025-26 has passed.
Phase II, spring vacation until June

After admission, the appropriate program (S-B-A or K-B-A) will be determined in dialogue with the young person and their legal guardians, so that the necessary steps and developments towards a sustainable follow-up solution can be implemented. The decision is finalized with the signing of the learning agreement.
Phase III, beginning of August

The K-B-A and S-B-A start at the same time as the start of the apprenticeship.

in the 5th week of the cantonal school vacations (Canton Zug).
