The K-B-A (combined bridging program) and S-B-A (school bridging program) enables youngsters and young adults to expand their skills necessary for successful entry into the workforce or an general education school.

Late registration possible

High demand – waiting list – feedback will be provided if a place becomes available

 

Registration for the Bridge Programmes is still possible after the official deadline. Applications can be submitted online. Please include a short explanation stating why the deadline could not be met.

Please note:

  • ⏳ Processing late applications takes longer.
  • ✅ Admission is only possible if places are available.
  • 📋 A waiting list is maintained. Applications are considered in order of receipt of complete applications.
  • 🔔 As soon as a place becomes available, we will contact applicants on the waiting list according to the order of receipt.

Current situation:

  • In the regular admission process, around 20% more students applied compared to previous years.
  • Numerous advisory interviews are currently taking place to assess whether a bridge programme is an appropriate step.

Based on experience, students find alternative solutions during the summer holidays (apprenticeships, schools or one-year internships).

Issues with Compression:
We help you get your “MyVideo” into the correct format. To do this, please schedule an appointment by email at register.aba@zg.ch.
Once the appointment is scheduled, you can submit the registration even without the video.
During the online registration, you will be asked to confirm the scheduled appointment.

     

Phase II:

Spring holidays until June

May – June 2026 Once your admission is confirmed, we will work together with you and your parents or guardians to choose the program that best fits your needs (S-B-A or K-B-A).
This ensures that you have the right support and a clear path toward a sustainable future.
The process is completed when the learning agreement is signed.

Program Start

Our K-B-A and S-B-A programs begin at the same time as apprenticeships, during the 5th week of the cantonal school holidays (Canton Zug).
This ensures a smooth transition and alignment with the start of vocational training.

 

MyVideo

In a 3-5 minute film, the young people introduce themselves in standard language (No Swiss German).

detailed guide provides specific information on the content. The focus should be on the content of the video. Background music, intro, and credits are not desired.

The film can be created from A to Z using a “mobile phone”.

 

Requirements:

  • Size: max. 20 MB
  • Formats: .mp4 / .mov

 

Video Compression Issues Before the Application Deadline (until 31 March 2026)

You can upload your compressed video (max. 20 MB) during the online application.
If you are unable to compress your video, simply indicate this during registration. Choose an appointment online and visit us at Ziegelmattweg 1, Zug (S‑B‑A). We will support you in preparing your “MyVideo” in the correct format.

Important: You may submit your application without the video. However, it will not be considered complete and will only be processed after the video has been delivered.

Wednesday, 1 April 2026, 13:30–14:30
